From best-selling and award-winning author Kristin Smith comes the riveting fourth and final book in the Deception Game series.
A terrible discovery that will change everything.
Armed with valuable information, Sienna and her friends find asylum in the east coast province of Pride. While initially grateful for Pride’s open arms, they begin to question exactly what kind of loyalties its president is after. Sienna must grapple with her new condition, Trey has to figure out how to win a war without losing Sienna, and Zane needs to recreate a gene regeneration therapy to cure Sienna without knowing if he’ll ever win her heart. When they learn Trina survived the Zenith Camp bombing, they also discover she’s been living a nightmare.
In the end, Sienna and her friends must somehow come together and fight a war for a government they aren’t sure they can trust.

TREY:
Mach 3 is the type of plane I’d like to own someday. Sure, it’s cool that it’s outfitted in the latest technology, and it comfortably seats way more than we need. But that’s not what makes it ridiculously amazing. It’s the fact it literally travels at Mach 3. Which means we’ll go from one coast to another in less than an hour.
Yeah, I need to get one of these. Maybe in another life.
As I settle into the leather seat next to Chaz and across from Trina and Grey, I note how this mode of transportation is a far cry from the aerodyne—er, airplane—that brought us to Old Richmond.
A woman in a striped dress that shows off a lot of leg pauses at my seat and offers me a drink. I decline. I’m not used to having someone wait on me hand and foot. I don’t do so well with luxury and expense and all of that crap. Give me a tent and a sleeping bag, and I’m good to go.
I can tell Nash feels the same. He sits on the edge of his seat like he’s afraid he might soil it. I choke back a laugh as the woman—who has introduced herself as the flight attendant for our flight—hands him a wet towel. Nash looks at it, not quite sure what to do. I have no idea, either. But Grey has been around a lot more than we have and knows immediately.
“You use it to wipe your face or hands,” he whispers, leaning across the aisle.
Nash wipes his hands and then chucks it on the ground. The flight attendant walks past and picks it up without saying a word. Geez. She probably thinks we’re barbarians. Grey shakes his head and quirks a smile at Trina, who is watching with wide eyes.
Okay, yeah. We’re an embarrassment. But who cares? We have more important things to worry about.
My fists clench as I think of Sienna and Zane in enemy territory. What the hell was he thinking taking her there? I get that he wants to fix her. I get that he wants to be the one to figure out a way to make her walk again. But to take her back to Rubex, where she’s a wanted fugitive, was asinine. He wasn’t thinking of her; he was thinking of himself.
I feel helpless knowing she’s so far away, that I’m not there if she needs me. There are a million things that could go wrong. And if something happens to her…
I swear, I’ll never forgive Zane.
