Removing the Fear: A Truth Journey from Fear to Freedom is a collision of journeys written to chronicle the authentic reality of unveiling the fear, feeling it, and moving forward anyway.

Answering the question, "What are you afraid of?" Ifedayo Greenway and eleven women come face to face with the embedded lies of their respective uncertainties. Accepting the invitation to heal, each writer is liberated as she bravely exposes the truth of the matter. These courageous women reveal their personal struggles and how they managed to turn their fear into a pathway to purpose and freedom.

EXCERPT:
Pulling back the layers of my struggles presented me with a multi-pronged issue that I needed to explore. There were times when what I toiled with was not fear itself. Instead, it was the life I knew that I could have if I would just let the fear go.

This truth would come to uncover a deeper layer to this phenomenon. What was I really afraid of? Well, the answer was twofold. It was the idea of being stuck with mediocracy because I was either (a) too afraid to let average go or (b) fearful of what it would feel like to embrace first-class. I was scared to lose and even more terrified to win. I wasn’t always frightened by the worst-case scenario. In some instances, the best possible outcome made me uneasy. It caused me to refuse to live a life beyond the proverbial wall of apprehensive excuses. It was the question on the opposite end of, what if I don’t get a better return spectrum. The double-edged sword that said, but what if I do. I remember years ago, talking to a friend after I completed a book project and saying, “What if I don’t do well with book interviews and selling this book?” Her response was, “What if you do?”

I normalized things not working out for me. So, could I respond appropriately if it did? Was I capable of walking in the win? Would true happiness cost more work and effort than I was willing to put in?

AUTHOR INTERVIEW:
1. Why do you write the kind of books you do?
I write in the non-fiction genre in hopes that my books will become a life changing agent. I share my stories and relatable, real-life experiences purely for the purposes of transformation. My life and how I walk in my calling has certainly been impacted by writing my books and I pray that others will find themselves and embrace their own change journey after reading them.

2. What are you reading right now?
Right now I’m reading books that will help to perfect my craft as a writing coach and publisher. So I’ve been toting around and reading, Read Books All Day & Get Paid For It: The Business of Book Coaching by Jennie Nash

3. What is your current work in progress?
I am not currently working on any personal projects as I just released my latest book in March of 2022. However, my two book collaborations catapulted me into a space where I now have the privilege of managing and publishing the projects of other visionary authors. I am currently working with two phenomenal women and looking forward to the release of their books later this year.

4. What would be your dream vacation?
Listen! If I can get myself to Paris, I would be a happy somebody. I don’t know how much of a vacation it would be, because my dream is to one day get lost in the perfect (and ordained) love story and get married there (inserting a bunch of hearts and smiley face emojis here).

5. What three things about you would surprise readers?
(1) I absolutely love watching crime and investigation related tv shows. (2) I binge watch Chicago P.D on a regular basis. (3) I secretly hope that Hank Voight (the character - not the actual actor) is the person that sweeps me off my feet and meets me in Paris..LOL

6. What advice would you give to a beginning author?
I would tell them to actually begin with very little thought for how it will end. I believe that aspiring & beginning authors spend so much time waddling in the unknown, fearing the process and just wondering if they will get it right in the end that they don’t actually start.

7. Tell us about Removing The Fear: A Truth Journey from Fear to Freedom.
– a brief blurb: It is a collision of journeys written to unharness the authentic reality of feeling the fear and moving forward anyway. I challenged eleven other women to answer the question, “What are you afraid of “, and come face to face with the embedded lies of their fears. Each woman accepted the invitation to heal and we all moved from fear to freedom as we bravely expose the truth of the matter.

8. Is there one particular message or “moral of the story” you hope readers walk away with?
Each chapter ends with “The truth of the matter…”. I hope that readers will walk away with the courage to acknowledge and expose the deception ingrained in them by their fear(s) and embrace their own personal truths.

9. Tell us about your research process.
My research came to me. My calling assignments and engagements placed me in the company of hundreds of women who were struggling with purpose paralyzing fear and allowing it to keep them from completing destiny assignments.

10. What impact did your research have on you personally?
I had to be honest with myself about how fear was impacting my life. As a Fear Strategist who is committed to not practicing hypocrisy (or telling people to do as I say, not as I do) I had to cross the bridge from complacency to greatness first; the bridge that I was encouraging other women to fearlessly crossover.

11. Has there been a time in your own life where you could really sense God was putting you in a situation for a reason?
OMG, YES! I always say that as a transformational speaker and writer, God makes me experience the things that I speak and write about first hand. He requires me to go through on-the-job training and I am definitely first partaker in the lessons. So, because I believe my life is my content, I’m convinced that most situations that I find myself in are strategically set up by God so that I’m able to complete my next assignment.

12. What’s on the horizon for you? What will you be writing next?
I can’t say for sure, but something tells me that it’s another collaboration. Maybe a volume II for Removing The Fear.
