ReplyDeleteYes! Same here. We had been having nothing but rain for the past 2 or 3 weeks. Yesterday was our first day of sunshine in awhile!
DeleteWow this is a very generous give a way. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWhat makes me happy recently is: the last three months my husband has been dealing with kidney stone infections. He has had two surgeries and been in the hospital three times. Sigh I really am not liking hospitals right now. But I am thankful that the last two weeks he has been himself and has returned to work full time and been in the garden and outside. It is such a blessing to have him back to normal again. Thank you Jesus. quilting dash lady at comcast dot net

DeleteI'm glad for the heat wave, it is in the 90s, and a few days ago we had a cold spell it was in the 40s for days, and no heat. It feels good to shed all those layers and enjoy some sunny days!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Glad you are warm again! We had a bad week here in Texas back in February where we had no electricity thanks to the main electricity provider in Texas would shut down the grid for hours at a time. We were so cold! We ended up having to stay in a shelter because our house would not get above 30 degrees!

ReplyDeleteI love going on vacation, but my bank account does not like me going, haha.
DeleteI was recently laid off of my job two weeks ago. Granted, I am feeling extremely stressed out and unsure of my current situation but I have really enjoyed being home and spending extra time with my daughter while I have been looking for another job online. Having the unexpected extra time off has been nice because I don't get to spend much time at home and seeing my daughter smile, makes my heart so happy :)
ReplyDeleteLike they say, "every cloud has a silver lining." =) Hopefully you can find a new job soon though. Being laid off sucks =(
DeleteI am a breakfast server, at a family hotel and restaurant, I have worked here for over 10 years and last year was not nice to us server,s but in the last month things have turned around. Things are returning back to normal and I couldn't be Happier.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine =( I'm glad things are finally looking up for the hotel and restaurant industry. So many people were laid off or had their hours cut back a lot back when it got bad =(

DeleteI took a mental health day this past Friday & got to see my boyfriend for lunch...I was estactic.
