EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT:
Forgiveness can change everything and everyone in this world. Forgiveness is neither about the other person nor about forgetting the past; rather, it is something you give to yourself to find inner peace and harmony in life. One must be very strong and committed to forgive. Forgiving ourselves is just as important as forgiving others. We have to forgive ourselves and the people who have hurt us. There is no right or wrong way to go. If we feel stuck and overwhelmed by anger, fear or grief, prayers can always help us overcome those negative feelings. Emotional, physical, and mental healing takes time. Some wounds are too deep; therefore, finding forgiveness can take years for some people and it can take months for others. It can’t be forced; it comes naturally when we are ready, but we must be committed and persistent.

DeleteWhat inspired you to write this book?
ReplyDeleteHi David, The inspiration came during one of my meditations. I wanted to share with everyone that no matter how hard it seems or how many "negative" events happening to us or how hopeless our situation is there is always a way out and everything in our life happens for a reason and all serves our best and highest interest. By writing my memoir, I hope to inspire and help people to change their lives and have a more fulfilling, peaceful, and joyous life filled with love and kindness. Laura

ReplyDeleteHow do you get ideas for your writing?
ReplyDeleteHello Barbara, As this is a memoir, most ideas and events I describe in my book are my real-life experiences. Having said that, I was inspired by Eckhart Tolle, author of "The Power of Now" who brilliantly explains why it is so important to enjoy the present moments and live in the now instead of complaining or thinking about our past and planning our future. There are other spiritual and inspirational books I have read before publishing my book (you can find them at the end of my book). Happy Easter! Laura
ReplyDeleteI love your comment - be positive!

ReplyDeleteWhat is your favorite part of the book writing process?
ReplyDeleteHello Susan, Although there were some challenges, I enjoyed the entire writing process. One evening I got some inspirations from the Universe to include two events of my life. I remember waking up the next morning so excited, enthusiastic, and motivated beyond words that I can work on these two new stories. That is the most remarkable memory during my writing process. Laura

Forgiving others is the key to our healing.
ReplyDeleteHi Doreen, Exactly. Once we forgive others and let go of anger, resentment, fear, and worry, our lives become peaceful, calm, and joyous filled with love and kindness. I find that forgiving ourselves is just as important as forgiving others. Laura
