ReplyDeleteI don't believe in luck. I feel blessed which helps me to take the bad days as well as celebrate the good.

ReplyDeleteWell, I’m blessed....but also believe in luck. I’ve been lucky enough to know that I can survive...in the worst of times and the best of times. I’ve won a second chance sweepstakes...cash, and the next day our car died...and we used to buy a new car. Then I spent my first and only dollar on the lottery...and won exactly what we needed to replace the brakes the next day on another set of brakes....the year I won a turkey, was the day after our freezer quit and our thanksgiving turkey had to be thrown away...agagin one day before Thanksgiving. I’ve won books and gift cards...so yes I call it a mixture of luck and faith that things will work out. And like Danielle H, I take the good with the bad, forget, forgive, and move on. Do I believe I’d win the mega lotteries if I played? Probably not. But I might try sometime!

ReplyDeleteI believe in luck but I also believe in try and try again. I am the glass is half full kinda person. I have won various small prizes and here lately a few book giveaways. My Mom and I used to go play Bingo on Friday nights and I won a turkey to cook for Thanksgiving and another time I won $100.

ReplyDeleteI once got out of work a few minutes later than usual, and missed the minibus taxi I normally took to get home. The taxi that I would have taken ended up being involved in a horrific incident where a lot of the passengers were killed! So yes, it was either amazing luck or somebody looking after me!!
