  1. I think the scariest thing that ever happened to me when I was walking to work in the very early hours. I lived on a very windy rural road that was heavily wooded on either side. I was walking along and after I came around a curve, some strange man literally came out of the woods and was following me. When I got to the end of the road, there was small store which I quickly entered. A police officer just happened to be getting his coffee. He drove me to work and my mom let me take the car from that point when I worked early.

  3. Scariest book -- Harvest Home by Thomas Tryon (I think -- it's been a long time). I have no idea what the scariest thing that ever happened to me might be... I know I've been uber scared, but I must have blocked it out. Ha!

  5. A marker flew across the room when I was all alone :( Also, I'm used to it now, but in our house during early hours you can hear dishes being done when no one is in the kitchen. Strange noises like that happen everywhere in the house, doors open themselves, & the dogs stare at things that aren't there. Every house we get has something weird, haha

    1. That's almost like the house I used to live in with my mom and step-dad. So many crazy things happened. I would even see shadow people. Our dog would also growl and bark at something that wasn't there. So Spooky!

      Thanks for sharing!

    2. My dog was sitting on my lap once and was growing viciously at the wall behind me. Unfortunately it was a night that my husband wasn't home, so I was all alone. It was frightening. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep that night.

  21. The spookiest thing was in a Civil War wax museum in Gettysburg, PA five years ago. My family & I were the only visitors in there. I felt a hand squeeze my shoulder from behind, I turned around and nobody was there. My family was all standing at least 10 feet in front of me. If I didn't believe in ghosts before that, I have since then!
